Stewart O. Dunn is a children’s book author who writes stories rooted in curiosity, emotional honesty, and the way children make sense of the world. She has self-published four picture books and regularly leads school visits and literary festival events in both English and Spanish across Kentucky and Panama.
After years working as an English coordinator and elementary teacher in Panama City, Stewart now works closely with Panamanian creatives, helping writers give life to their stories and ideas and supporting them in sharing their voices with wider audiences. She is a member of the Academy of Children’s and Young Adult Literature Authors in Panama (APLIJ) and has coordinated workshops with organizations such as Inspiring Girls and Fundación ProEd, encouraging young women and educators to incorporate storytelling into their lives and work.
As a mother to two cats and one bossy human, she brings lived insight into the tenderness, humor, and meaning found in everyday family moments.
