School Visits (in-person or virtual!)
Contact me to schedule a school visit! I offer readings, thematic discussions, and writing workshops. Each is offered on a class basis, with multiple classes available to schedule for the day. Readings are recommended for pre-k to 4th grade, while thematic discussions and writing workshops are available for any grade level. Some visits consist of an author read-aloud, followed by a Q&A time, while other visits have been more of an interview style, with the group reading the book beforehand and preparing questions to ask. The possibilities are limitless! I’ll provide some promotional material, so the school can spread the news through Facebook, Instagram, the school’s website, or however you’d like to increase the excitement. After the visit, I can send an activity pack (catered to lower elementary levels) so the teachers may complete them with their classes, or they may forward them to the students to enjoy.

Nico can enhance any event! Share and read Nico during your next gathering to add a light yet educational story to engage young learners. Use the book to help connect readers to larger topics, such as pollution or recycling.
